Watch Arachnid

Arachnid (Lions Gate Films) is a horror film released in 2001. The story takes place on a island where enormous spiders are killing the local population. The story is personal for Mercer, who is the sister of a pilot that was killed by one of the huge spiders. She goes to the island with Valentine and head to the jungle with a few other men with the intention of finding her brother unaware he is dead. While on the island, the entourage face several challenges due to the spiders, and must fight their way through the jungle.

Throughout their journey they are confronted with death, several men in the entourage dying in "battle." As the group shrinks in size they must move on and continue to fight for their lives until they reach safety.
