Captive is a thriller film that was released in 2008. A detective is taken hostage during a bank robbery. The robbers kill the detective’s partner during the robbery, and are able to make a clean getaway. The detective is haunted by the kidnapping, and is soon removed from the case for being personally involved. The detective is obsessed with the idea of avenging his partner’s death, and so he goes outside of the law to hunt down the robbers.
