Watch Departures

Departures is a dramatic Japanese film. The movie is loosely based on a memoir film, in which a cellist returns home after his music career has failed. He becomes a mortician, and is shunned by certain of society, including his wife, as there is a stigma connected to people who deal with the dead. However, the cellist learns to find beauty and a favorable reputation through his work.
