Doppelganger is the story of a shy scientist named Michio Hayasaki. He finds out that he has a doppelganger that is after him. As each day es, he finds it easier to ignore him on a daily basis. Unfortunately, this doppleganger becomes more persistent as the days go by. It gets so bad to the point where Michio is force to go against him.

Surprisingly, both Michio and his doppleganger are similar to each other in many ways. Michio is shy and keeps to himself most of the time, as his doppleganger is assertive, persistent and aggressive to other.

Both Michio and his doppleganger are forced to live with each other until Michio's life turns upside down by his doppleganger.
