Watch Love at Stake

Love at Stake is a comedy film that was released in 1988. In order to speculate on land, Salem's judge and mayor decide to hold a trial for a witch. The trial quickly turns into a spectacular affair, and things get more complicated when one of the mayor's assistants decides to court the local baker. This excitement is then mingled with a clam chowder wrestling match, and then a group of marijuana addled Indians come into the mix. These events all result in the tiny town of Salem not noticing that they have an actual witch in their midst. Love at Stake was directed by John Moffitt.
