This dramatic comedy movie is about a lonely young woman who ends up in the hospital. Claudia works in a supermarket. She lives alone and has no family. One night she goes to the hospital and is itted for appendicitis. While she is recuperating, she gets to know the woman in the next bed, Martha. Martha has four children and is a single mother. She invites Claudia to come stay with her family when she gets out of the hospital.

This is the story of these two women. Martha's health gets worse every day. Claudia's feeling of finally belonging strengthens every day.
