"1943. 1989. Dorrigo and Ella host a charity piano recital. There, we meet his work colleague, and fellow surgeon, Rick Maison, and his wife, Lynette. The following day, we reveal Dorrigo in bed with Lynette, they are having an affair. Over wine, Dorrigo lays down his ground rules, if their affair is to continue, and Lynette gets the sense that this is not the first time Dorrigo has cheated on Ella. 1940. Dorrigo once again visits The King of Cornwall, to see Amy. However, after a drunken night in the pub with his uncle, Dorrigo is forced to overhear Amy and Keith have sex. The following day, an awkward breakfast is shared between the three before Dorrigo and Amy visit the beach, by themselves, where they talk about their respective spouses. 1989.
