The Intern is a comedy satire film. It was released in 2000. The film is about how fashion magazines have caused the world to become shallow. The film closely revolves around Jocelyn Bennett, who is an intern at the New York City magazine, Skirt. Bennett is mistreated and underpaid by the company. A spy gets involved and begins to turn over Skirt's story ideas to their rival, Vogue. When this occurs, Skirt finds themselves in a conundrum. When Jocelyn finds out about what has happened, she is eager to find the spy in order to save the name of Skirt.
